Your toy(s) will be shipped within two business days and will either arrive rolled up inside a recycled cardboard pizza box or else be mailed straight in a cardboard tube. If you ordered on a Thursday, it might not hit the mail until the following Monday. Click here to view our Shipping Policies.
OPENING INSTRUCTIONS
When you remove the pet toy, it will have some curl. Simply run it through your thumb and index fingers a few times to gently straighten the toy.
TUNING INSTRUCTIONS
Gently twist the feather end to adjust the feather flight. Straighten or bend the Tamboo® rod to alter flight performance. DO NOT OVER TWIST.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Some care is required for all feather toys. It is a good idea to keep the toy put away when you aren’t playing with it – so your pet(s) do not sit and chew on the feathers (which eventually destroys them).
The Tamboo rods are durable but not indestructible. Trying to lift your pet with the toy can result in a broken rod.
Pulling straight is a much safer technique. Using a pencil grip to control the toy works well.
If accidentally broken, home repairs can be made but should not be attempted by children without the supervision of an adult because it requires a hot blow dryer or lighter.
DISPOSAL
As with all feather toys, CatTamboo toys aren’t expected to last forever. Ruined tamboo rods should be disposed of to reduce risk of accidental injury (see disclaimer). However, you can feel fine about throwing them away because they have considerably less plastic than other toys!

My 5 cats can’t wait and i really hope it helps Bacon, who is timid and does hide under the bed though we do our best to show our affection and do play sessions. I really hope it helps him and allows the youngest, who is 1 yr to not be so shy because he’s in a new home.

Sweet! I’ll hook you up with a good one. Tip: Tamboo rods are an amazing material. You can straighten and tune the fiber for better flying. Simply run through your fingers in a gentle reverse bend along the length of the rod.
My cats absolutely love your cat tamboo product. My cat Thor came from a bad situation and had never played before and was in fact afraid of feathers attached to short wands. We started him with your cat tamboo and within a week he was hooked on them. Now they sit outside the closet where we store the toys and wait for us to take them out to play with them.
